Holos/ὅλος

Holos is taken from Ancient Greek and is the root of the English word "Whole". Holos can be translated as "wholly", where all the parts are present and working as a whole – i.e. as the total, which is greater than the mere sum of the parts.  Other translations and connotations include: "altogether" "entire" "complete," and even  "safe and sound".

Holos captures the key principles of psychological health that I wish to promote, taking account of all aspects of a person's functioning, including their physical health and relationships, so that they can really be "more than the sum" of their parts.
